The Submersible Roots Blower is installed under water, so the operating noises reaching the surface of water are refracted into water instead of air. In this way, noises can be effectively reduced.
Being installed under water, noises can be minimized. Therefore, there is no need to add a soundproof enclosure to gain the silent enviornment. Besides, due to the blower is installed in the water tank, user can save space to utilize the work place more efficiently.
The motor and the blower are connected directly (free from troublesome maintenance of replacing belts.) The motor and the blower body are entirely sealed with o-rings so that water won't flow into the motor.
■ The volume of water should be kept above the lowest level.
■ The temperature of water should be kept below 40 degree C.
■ Do not install the blower in a place where circulation might be interrupted.
■ Be careful not to let bubbles rush to the blower directly.
※ In order to confirm actions and make adjustment, please install the blower in a place convenient for checking and repairs. When the user stops running the blower, to prevent adverse flow, adding a check valve at a position higher than the water level in the aeration tank.
※ If sludge and dust might accumulate, heighten the blower`s base. If sludge accumulates around the motor or blower, it will be difficult for the motor to radiate heat. This might lead to a breakdown or a burn out to the machine. In this case, lay another pipeline(a device as shown in the above drawing) to stir water around the blower so sludge will not stick around to the body of the machine.
Cautions In Inlet Silencer
※ The inlet silencer should be erected and installed outdoors to avoid suctioning the moisture from the tank. (as shown in drawing [一] )
※ The inlet silencer should be installed at least 1m above the ground with a space that users can be easily cleaned if dust accumulates.
※ The wrong installation way of inlet silencer as shown in drawing[二], the inlet silencer installed this way will lead to suction the moisture inside the tank into the cylinder, and causing rust to the blower's rotors due to a humid cylinder.
※ If there is an alternative blower that stops running, please make sure to turn it on at least 30 minutes weekly. If it is stored in a damp place, please turn it on daily.
